Me Myself and I

Every week I try to do an informative blog or podcast. My goal is to leave you with a new idea or a new way to view something. By doing this weekly post I usually end up giving my opinion and thoughts on a particular subject. This week I am going to do things a little differently. Variety is the spice of life, right?! This week I want you to get to know the most important subject there is...YOU. Don't worry, this is not tenth grade English class. You will not be graded on your answers or spelling. The only rules to this challenge are to be honest with yourself and complete ALL the questions. If you are old school like me, get out a piece of paper and pen and write the numbers 1-10 down. If you are a hip technology buff you can just type your answers in the notes section on your phone. Get in a comfy spot and get lost in your answers. Here they are:

  1. What is your all time favorite quiet time routine and why?

  2. What is your dream job (doesn't matter if you are retirement age) and why?

  3. Where would you like to travel and why?

  4. What is one of your favorite childhood memories and why?

  5. If you could meet someone famous who would it be and why?

  6. Write 5 qualities about yourself that you LOVE.

  7. Who inspires you and what about them is inspiring?

  8. Recall two of your best days and explain why they are ranked so high.

  9. Something you LOVE to do.

  10. A new hobby you'd like to pursue.

Once you have finished all the questions sit with your answers. Were there any surprises? I always find doing exercises like this so fascinating because I seem to learn something new about myself every single time. This kind of self work is beneficial for so many reasons. It gets your creative juices flowing while also showing yourself that you do care about all the tiny details that make up you. The more you show up for yourself the more confident you become. Start asking yourself why you are drawn to certain books, shows, and movies. In all theses puzzle pieces lies the true you that is waiting to be unleashed. Sunday is the perfect day to explore!
